Last Day :(

Today is the last day of camp. I am very sad to be leaving all my awesome instructors and new friends that I have made. I hope that all the new girls that will come into this camp will love it as much ass I did! I hope to come back next year!

Googlesketchup

Today we did Google sketchup and we made as a class a dog house, and a at porch. It was sooo fun! You could make whatever you wanted but it would be 3d!! After we did our class project, everyone made an individual house with rooms and furniture! I am still working on my house right now and it is coming together.

Starlogo TNG     



We learned how to use starlogo TNG today which is a program where you can do 3d animation. We made giraffes that had to stay on a mountain and could not go onto the water or it would decrease your score. It was very fun! They had so many characters, they even had Jar Jar Binks, Teenage  Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Sonic!

Paper Circuits! 

Today we learned how to make paper circuits! We made a birthday cake with glowing candles, and for my end of the day project, I made a dog with glowing eyes. It was so fun and anyone can do it. All you need is copper tape a battery, and two small LED lights.

My Weekend

 



This weekend I went to see the movie Star Trek Into Darkness with my dad. It was awesome!! We went at 9:15 and came back at 12:00! My Favorite Characters were the boss Spock and Kirk. :)

Pecocrickets


Today we learned how to do pecocrickets. Me and my group made a train and in the middle, our computer crashed. :( But we got it back online. Our train had sound and a flashing red light and a solid yellow light. It was sooo fun!!!

HTML


Today we learned how to do HTML programming. It was so fun! My favorite part was getting to see the finished product at thee end. Another fun thing that we did was create a gutsy girls social network account. I cant wait for the new week on Monday and presentation day on Friday! :)

Design Blocks 

Today we learned about how to use a program called design blocks. It is a program like scratch but for art. I made a picture that looked like a fingerprint and one that looks like a hypnotism  device. It was soo fun! And the best part is that you can do it at home!

Scratch Program



Today we learned how to  make our own animation and game. it was sooo fun but hard. Me and Tori, my partner, made a game where you were the monkey,  and you had to catch the falling bananas. As a class, we made an animation of a prince and a princess, and we also made a game of a crab catching beach balls. 

  Hi one ofmy favorite things that I am obsessed about is the Legend of Korra and Avatar the Last Airbender. I soo can not wait for the second season of Legend of Korra to come out! If u are also a fan of these shows pleeeease comment so we can talk about them!!

Today I met a new girl named Lacy who used to be friends with a girl that goes to my school, small world huh! My favorite part of today was making an origami box, frog, and peacock. Another favorite part of my day was playing the game where they divided us into 2 groups and each team had to stand on blankets that got smaller and smaller. It was sooo fun!!

First day

Hello my first day of camp was awesome!!!!! My fave part was meeting all the new staff and campers. I cant wait for tomorrow!
